Well, we did a show this morning in Woodbridge, VA. It was amazing! Now we are in Easton, Maryland. After we sing here, we are heading home!

We were on the boat with many great artist, including Dr. Malcom from the movie Fireproof.Im gonna post a couple pics for you guys.We love you and thank you for your prayers and support.Be sure to keep on the lookout for next years cruise and plan on going with us!!!!!

This is our very first entry for Randy and Sherri Miller. We are so glad that you have logged on to us.Sherri and I are so excited about the new things that we are embarking on.I am totally new to this whole blogging thing ,but I know that just like Christmas morning,we will be looking forward in getting the gifts of new friendships so drop us a line right here!!!Oh by the way, anyone know what movie this pic is from???Merry Christmas!!! “Youll shoot your eye out kid” lol
I am sitting in The Houston airport right now.Out side the air is cool and crisp and the scent of bacon permeates the air where I got off the shuttle.Im now in the terminal awaiting the boarding of the plane.People are all around me with their little bags of breakfast goodies: Mcdonalds, starbucks coffee and local doughnut shop seems to be majority choice.Several are reading the morning paper while other more tech savvy people are looking at their internet phones absorbing information.I love to people watch. This trip has been a little hard for me because I had to do the tour without Sherri. She suffered tears in her rotator cuff after being in a car accident a couple weeks ago.Looks like surgery is imminent.Keep us in your prayers!Gotta go for now planes are being boarded.
I guess that some of you have figured out while hearing me speak at our concerts, I like to cook. It all started out when I was around seven that I started to learn how to cook. One of my favorite dishes that I enjoy making for people is called: Kartoffelklosse. Now our lesson for today is to say that ten times real fast.
I learned how to cook this from my Grandmother on my moms side and I have never used a recipe I just look at it. I’ll pour water in a boiling pot about half way, add around two cups of milk, stick of butter(I prefer real butter). Then I’ll add around 2 tbl spoons salt to taste.Ill cut up 5 Yukon gold potatoes in half inch cubes and set them to boil.
Now for the dumplings.I don’t use the traditional german method of dumpling balls,I am from the south,i do dumplings rolled out. Take a large bowl mix around 2 1/2 cups of self rising flour and 3/4 of hot water. mixing in small amounts of water at a time til it is done. Roll out the dough as thin as you can cut into strips and put them into the pot allow them to cook for about ten min. You should allow to potatoes to cook til done before you add the dough.
Some people add cheese to the top when served or shallots.I like just black pepper and a little bit of bacon bits.Enjoy!!!
